- Bapco Upstream aims to lay 2 x 24 inches pipelines of regasified liquid natural gas (RLNG) between Alba Gas Station Jump Over to Al Dur Distribution Point including two new stations Askar Valve Station and Hafeera Valve Station. As part of phase 1B scope, Bapco upstream will be installing above ground 2 x 24 inches pipelines from Alba Gas Station Jump Over to Askar Valve Station. In addition to the pipeline, a new intermediate valve station - Askar Valve station will be constructed as part of phase-1B scope. For the safe operation of the Pipelines and the facilities, Pressure, Temperature & Level Transmitters, Shut Down Valves, Fire and Gas Detectors & Devices will be installed. To connect these Pressure, Temperature & Level Transmitters, Shut Down Valves, Fire and Gas Detectors and Devices to the Programmable Logic Controller Panels inside the Telemetry Building (PLC) Instrument and Fire & Gas Cables will be needed.
