- As part of its strategic initiatives, the Electricity and Water Authority EWA is focused on reducing NonRevenue Water NRW. During the implementation of NRW Phase 1 Project, various technologies were tested to assess their effectiveness in detecting leaks within the water distribution system. Acoustic technology demonstrated superior performance in identifying leaks. Consequently, the Water Distribution Directorate WDD is now seeking to procure lift and shift acoustic sensors & loggers along with an integrated software system to enhance leak detection capabilities across the network.
